Gen_1 is an interactive immersive experience. Built to explore responsive gestural control, this application utilizes procedural generation to create unique organic patterns using motion data gathered from the user.

Gen_1 was installed at the Canwood Gallery, exhibited alongside works by Carl Andre and Damien Hirst, generating over 2000 unique works over the course of its 3 day stint.

Hand tracking data is gathered from a Leap Motion controller on Linux CMs, output over network via OSC to touchdesigner for visuals and Max MSP for audio.
